LALE House was once a residential home. We built it in the 1980's and moved there with our children. After our first
and second born grew up and went to college, we decide to build a small home close by. We converted the 1st home into several
rooms that could fit 2-3 beds. The home was sitting in an 0.75 Acre lot, we converted the huge garage into more rooms,
study rooms, TV rooms and office. Built some more rooms in the back of the home. More college students started inquiring more
about LALE house and interest grew.
After our thrid born grew up and left, and the demand for more room from the college students and now high school boarding
students, we converted our second home into a hostel.
LALE House is located in a very quiet and prestigious location. In the surburbs of Nairobi. Mature trees and motherly
love and care is given to the students. During Vacations, LALE House is run as a seminar and retreat center for local and
international guests. LALE House is famous for its very good, balanced and delicious meals. Also transport "to" and "from"
town is available at a small fee. Guests can be met per request or at Karen Shopping Center & Bomas of Kenya for
free.
LALE House is renowned for decency as it is run by a Christian couple.
